Montana Fishing

We are making a trip in the first week of May to Montana in the Butte and Bozeman area's. I was wondering if anyone has some info on fishing in that area. I have sent for the Montana Fishing Reg's but it will be 3-4 weeks before it arrives. We came home from Mexico last year through that area and I was impressed with the lakes, rivers and scenery. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
