Hi Everyone,

Thinking of heading out to Pigeon Saturday with a buddy to fill his C Class tags. How's the water clarity/water level?

Appreciate any insight.

Thanks.

Haven't been on Pigeon for a few weeks now, but no Blue Algae yet, and the water was quite clear when I was there.

As to water level - no worries - everything is up.

Was on pigeon last weekend by the provincial park and it's cover in brown algae and can't see passed the surface

I Was there this morning, water looked pretty clear, no noticeable signs of algae around the PP, likely blown to the east end if there is any yet. Lots of action in 13ft at first light.

Two of us went out Saturday - hit the water at 7:00 AM and left at 1:00 PM.

Clarity was about 7 feet.

We lost count at 60 walleye, but likely were closer to 80 fish.

Walleye of all sizes and shapes. All looked very healthy, no worms/leeches/scars etc.

Only 2 pike.

No significant algae to be seen - surprised in the clarity this late in the summer.

Overall beautiful day.

Only spent some time at the PP ... it was "ok" there, off and on. Fished elsewhere on the lake.

Went out to Pigeon today - Monday.

Calm water.

Hit close to 60 walleye from 9:30 - 1:00.

One good sized 40 inch pike.

All healthy walleye.

Clear water to 8ish feet ... great for this time of the summer.
