Any reports how its fishing? And ice quaility?

Went last weekend......horrible. Fishing was really slow and 3 of us managed only one perch, 3 small pike and that's her!

As for the ice, 4x4 and a shovel on this lake. There was an initial "crust" of about 10", and once we broke through that (which felt like we were breaking through clean to the water, i must add) we were spinning 4 tires.

I posted the same question the night before i went, but was too late in reading the reply....i hope you aren't.

We were there last weekend too. Rob isn't kidding about the shovel, pretty tough slugging. Fishing was SLOW...hundreds of perch on the Aqua-Vu, but none would bite and we tried everything. But man, there are some HUGE perch in that lake.
