Fishing around Leduc area

New to area and looking for spots to take kids to fish off shore. Dont matter what species of fish just want kids to enjoy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Leduc reservoir just off the hwy has trout in it that bite a lot. Coal lake is a also a good place for the kiddies

Just a heads up on Leduc. Fishing from shore is a bit limited plus from the heat it got a bit weedy - can be done in a few spots.

Wizard lake is quite fishable from shore at Jubilee park. There is a playground there too if the kids get restless.
