I am heading out to South Sask River tomorrow at Forks or possibly looking for new area. Sturgeon is the goal. Just looking for a little advice whether it is worth going with water levels. I checked the Environment website and flow levels seems high but I have read that can be good. Its a 3 hr drive so if it is better to wait then I will change plans and head to BC maybe. Would appreciate any heads up.

Nowhere is the answer. Some nices one caught Tuesday.

Biggest trouble at The Forks is the company you will find.

downstream.

while the SSR has been dead this season in AB, the SSR in Sask has been productive

I ended up going near Sandy Point and got 2. This was my first catch and I didnt have a tape measure handy but the one was very nice-had to be over a metre. One was a baby but still cool to catch.

Well you done fine then, did you just poke around and hang in areas for a short time and then move or sit in the same area for the duration?

I mainly stayed in the same area. I tried a different spot the next day but ran out of bait early.
