Going to be camped at Mt. Kidd for a week, is there much for shore fishing in the area?

The fishing for bears is good in K country right now. I use a sheep on 4000# test line.

There are quite a few places.
Wedge pond - grayling.
Mount Lorette pond, Sibbald pond, Sibbald Lake - all trout stocked ponds.
Upper and lower Kananaskis lakes.
Rawson and Elbow lake if you want to hike a bit.
Bears are very active this year and lots of the park is closed. Make sure you have bear spray even if you are not far off the beaten path.

Just got back from a week trip .
Best year ever for seeing Grizzlies. Large berry crop besides the roads. Counted 5 in total. Many trails are shut down.
Have fun. BE SAFE!
This guy was like 200 yards from upper k boat launch, you can just see the lake in the upper right corner.

I saw a grizzly on 2 trips to Lower K earlier this year. I carry bear spray now. Was a little nervous launching my boat. Always looking around and over my shoulder.
