fishing at Chain Lakes

Has anyone been out fishing in the vicinity of Chain Lakes lately? Where and how did you do?:fishing:

We were there a week and a half ago had well over 20 fish on and landed and released well over a dozen small rainbows. We were trolling with a willow leaf wedding bands and power bait.

have you seen any wildlife out there while fishing?

Saw all kinds of deer resting along the bank on the west side while trolling a few weeks ago.

Are these the Chain Lakes north of Athabasca?

Ive been a couple times recently. Fairly slow but last time I did well trolling a Carey Special fly. Havent had much luck while shore fishing though. Saw lots of deer around the shore.

I haven't been in a few weeks but trolling a small spoon was working. And we saw lots off deer on shore. I'm heading that way tomorrow.
