Is this province wide or just Edmonton?Actually across Canada....Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary and Edmonton. Weds-Sun, no flyer, but everything is usually minimum 20% and some stuff way more than that. It's *THE* sale of the year, for sure. Thinking of picking up a new Fenwick this week.

I was in and got a new Humminbird 7 with side imaging. Saved 20% ($180)!!! Glad I didn't buy it last month at Cabelas!! :sHa_shakeshout:

I was there last night, this is the best the sale has been in a while. I'd say 95% of the inventory is 25% or more off, including ALL rods and reels. There's a few big ticket items that are less, but even they're 15-20%.

All the Lowrance and Humminbird electronics at 20% off is an amazing deal, they never go that low.

Spent the day prostaffing at the Edmonton South store. Was super busy. Lots of stuff is already sold out. Only 1 Scotty downrigger left, it's an 1117. Only 1 more Elite Ti 12" left and still lots of Len Thompson spoons but some colors sold out.

I'm at west the next 2 days after lunch, come on down and say hi and ask some questions. Back to south Saturday.

Other prostaff are there too if you have any questions on gear now is a great time to come ask.

Those kinds of deals are extremely rare, pretty safe to say WSS lost a pretty penny selling that unit for 50% off.

20% off a fish finder is a great deal, I won't go into details about the margins on these units but it is a lot lower then most people probably think.

Some things that caught my eye today were 40% off Quantum KVD and Energy baitcasters as well as Smoke Spinning reels. Also 40% off St. Croix Avid and Fenwick HMG rods.

They aren't restocking anything? Maybe not worth the drive if they have a 4 day wall to wall sale without filling the shelves.

There won't be a restock for most things. Still lots of stuff 40% off but starting to run low at west. bulk jig heads and plastics also 50% off in good stock. Then the typical 25 on spoons, cranks, etc.

They also keep very limited stock for a lot of things so don't count on anything other then the big selling low cost items to be restocked. Many things like rods, reels, expensive lures, fish finders etc probably won't be restocked until next year now.

Inventory was the biggest thing that annoyed me when working there. There are lots of items they would sell a lot more of if they kept them in stock.

I agree. Worked there as well and inventory of items used at both seasons was a challenge. They seem to believe things like Slendor Spoons are only a winter item even though many use all year long. It is their summer clearance so only items in stock when its gone its done.
Odd old items are the 50 off and the odd odd hidden gem but most items can be had at other retailers on sale for the same or better.
Saying that I heard 20 off on electronics which is a0wsome. Not much juice in them so pretty close to cost if any in stock.

Luckily I broke my fenwick hmg a couple weeks ago so I popped in to the Fishin Hole and low and behold..... a sweet G.Loomis was there for 40% off!!!

I bought 2 new rod/reel combos for the boys at 40% off, a bunch of bait and a new reel at 25%, and then the big score, Thermacell refills at 40% off!
Let me type that again, All Thermacell stuff 40% off!
Bear season won't be quite so expensive now...
