I am just looking for good places to fish around the Edmonton area, I heard that Hermitage lake and Whitemud Creek is an excellent place to fish, but I am looking for more places to fish around here, also what type of bait is good to use when fishing. Also, is rubber bait good for fishing for wall eye as well?

In my opinion we have one of the best fishing resources that runs right through the city. The North Sask River. Due to high level of water, not so great right now, but I love fall fishing on this river.

Lots of lakes around Spruce Grove/Stony Plain you can fish. Plastic baits are ok, Fresh/Frozen bait is best.

I understand you man, its going to get way worse as with rain, I am going to Golden BC, I heard they have good fish, I just gotta go on the government website and check the catch limit.
