Here is my first big pike I caught up at the cottage this summer . I actually caught this lunker off of our dock :D.
He measured around 36-38 inches.

Great job on your first lunker , its a great feeling getting the first monster. Every person on this board will remember how that feels. That feeling never goes away , even on the 100th lunker. Thanks for posting and many more to you.

Nice looking pike!! I can't get one over 30" on open water tackle... I would imagine it would be a rush....:wave:

Raven,
I was fishing with a berkley swim bait. I was fishing with my buddy and I said " I'm snagged" So I give it a hard hook set and my line just started to feed like crazy . I managed to get her in after a hard fight.
This is not my biggest pike yet , I managed to land a 42" pike about a week later just feet from our dock in our boat.

Sweet pike man. must be nice to have a cottage right on a lake. I have never caught a pike that size in open water. Nice catch very nice fish.

Morph , The Walleye in my picture was around 22 inches and I caught her at Travers near High River. :)
