Ford Rangers that is. I have always liked my old reliable 1997 Ranger. I have recently added a newer Ranger to my tiny fleet because I really wanted one in 4x4.
Couple months ago I heard that Ford was going to start making them again. Yesterday I finally googled 2017 Rangers, and while I personally don't like/need the 4 door model I really like the new ones that are coming out. I have never owned a brand new vehicle in my life, but I just might set a savings goal to buy a lottery ticket so I could buy a brand new Ranger. Maybe the Raptor Model.

I've had three,my current ride is a 2008 with 260,000 km,only thing I had to do to it is a battery and an alternator, and only on my second set of tires
Bought it new with 24.6 km

Last truck was a 96 ranger. Sold it with 360000 miles not km on it. All I ever did was replace a fuel pump and alternator. Well and the grill and bumper twice because of a deer and once cause of some rig pig that backed into me in Hinton. Good trucks they just needed an overhaul and ford put their $$ into the newer f150. I'd consider one when they bring them out again.

Still have my 2003 I bought new way back then. Only 160000 km, so I'll be driving it for a while longer I imagine.

Ford never stopped making them, Just stopped selling them in north America,
Last couple years, the 3.2L diesel ford ranger has been kicking Toyata hilux ass, in sales.
The new diesel hi-lux has reversed that trend.
Great trucks, and no so little any more, not much in size difference between the ranger and f150 now, unlike ten years ago.
Hopefully sum day the small Jap diesels pickups, will get past, all the tariffs and protections, and be an option, for those that want a smaller diesel pickup.

My first truck was a 2008 FX4 fully loaded.
I loved that little truck.
Great little off roader.
My needs outgrew that truck and I have an F-150 now, but there are still days I wished I had it. (Usually trying to find a parking space)

Bought an 86 new, drove it almost to extinction, gave it to my son who promptly totalled it. After that I resurrected it as a handy utility trailer, what's not to love ?
