since the advent of online dating and deceptive angles you need to learn some tips and tricks to avoid being fatfished

step 1. looks for collar bones (they don't exist throw it back)

if she's over 18 years of age she's a keeper. lol hope you were wearing sunglasses cause i've had some close calls where the hooks came close to the eyeballs.

Yeowch!!! Luckily she only hooked the lip and chin. Glad it wasn't her gills or gullet. I wish the young lady a speedy recovery.

Someone needs to look before they cast methinks. It used to be full contact fishing when I went fishing with my grand pa, everyone had to be on the lookout because he wasn't.

Nice road you've started her down Moose. Watch your back cast next time.

my buddy did this to himself. He's definitely not a keeper. I threw him back.

first time I took my wife out fishing she brought the rod back to cast, started the cast but let go of the line too early and it landed on the back of my t-shirt, youve never heard me yell so loudly for somebody to 'FREEZE RIGHT NOW! DONT MOVE!' lol. Thankfully she only snagged my shirt, managed stop her before she could set the hook.

Ouch! I'm going to go and make sure I've pinched the barbs off ALL my crankbaits and spoons, right now!

She was not very fortunate to get a pair of treble hooks in the face; one through the lip. She was however very fortunate that none of those hooks caught one of her eyes.

"With Rapala you can catch anything!"

Commercial right there!

Happened to me about 20 years ago while my buddy was teaching me to fly fish.
Was lifting the rod tip up to roll the line back then flip the tip down and the line was suppose to roll forward repositioning the fly. Only thing is the fly got stuck in my upper lip right below my nose. Buddy pushed the hook through my lip and cut the hook and barb off with his letterman then pulled out the fly. Hardly bled at all but hurt like hell. I believe that was the last time I fly fished.

If I recall correctly we used dr. Mcguilicutty for antiseptic.
