A few of us spent a beautiful day at Gull Lake today. Although the fishing was very slow, one bite all day long, I did bring home a nice sunburn to show for my efforts.

Never the less, I wanted to share my experience with my cordless drill auger set up. Take 1 Ridgid 18 volt drill complete with Ice Auger II adapter connecting to an 8” Finn Bore hand Auger + 2 batteries + 40 inches of ice = 16 holes augured. Not a bad day’s work!

I hope some find this info useful.
