1835 Springfield musket value

Not sure if this is the right forum.....not really a guns and ammo discussion.

Any collectors/history/musket/militaria buffs out there? Wondering what my musket is worth? Been in the family for a few generations, not interested in selling, just curious! Thanks!!

All depends on condition if the gun has no unique history. However, if there is any documented Providence that would put it in the hands of someone famous or at a famous battle that changes things a lot. Gun can go from $500 to $50,000 depending on what the answers to those questions are.

Quality pictures and answers to those questions would allow us to narrow it down a bunch.
