Loking for reviews on the score amo review? The guys at whole sales turned me on to it when I seen the Made in canada and low in price. So I got a box and looking to try it out this but looking for other review good or not?

thanks

Score shotshells are made in Canada, Score shotguns are made in Turkey. Your topic reads Score Shotgun review, but you appear to be asking about Score shotshells. So which are you really looking for reviews on?

Popular around here for low price steel waterfowl loads.

Assembled in Canada with European components would be a better description.

If it is only an ammunition review that you are after, the Score target loads seem about the same as Challenger target loads which are also assembled in Canada. I generally buy Challenger, because Cabelas puts them on sale for about $70 per flat for 12 gauge.

I haven't used their steel loads but their one ounce trap loads are very effective,

I like Score, they are made in Manitoba. I do not use Challenger as they are made in Quebec and I send them enough money as it is.

I love their 1 1/8oz 12 guage slugs. I shoot steel with them out of my M4 and have been quite pleased so far. The price is great too (in comparison to other options).

I have been using Score Steel alongside Kent FastSteel in BB, 2, 3 and #4 shot in both the 2 3/4" and the 3" with about equal success on waterfowl, so I believe in them. Have shot a few boxes of their target loads as well with no complaints but I don't shoot enough trap or skeet to make a fair evaluation against other brands...but they go bang and the clays break when I hit them,
Now if they would just bring out some steel 20ga loads like they told me they where going to when I emailed them last year. Told me they had just got the 20 equipment in and where just setting it up and I see they have listed some target loads now on there site.

I heard score shotshells are going out of business. That's what the distributor our club buys shells from said anyways.

I enjoy the 1oz loads for trap, but my Citori did not like them. Beretta has no issues though.

I've also noted that they are quite dirty to shoot and don't smell quite right IMO after you shoot them.

But they are still solid ammo for the price.

I've only used their lead and not steel, good ammo though. Score claims to have more consistent velocity than AA.
Honestly, to compete in today's ammo market, the loads have to be good or the company won't survive so it's difficult to buy poor ammo these days and the average shooter wouldn't see any difference on targets anyway.

I never heard of Score until I read a post last month about their slugs.
So I did some research and bought two boxes, 10 & 25's.
Apparently they use the "Thug slug"
Fairly accurate from a smooth bore with "rifled choke tube" to 50yds.

I shoot score for trap but the 1300fps not the 1200 work great. 2000 rounds this summer and no failures.

hey sorry about the mix up I was talking about the shells. After reading some stuff i went out and picked up a box of 12g 23/4 3 shot and got my first duck living in Alberta! The shell worked amazing and not one problem in my 500. Thanks for the great review and hope this Canadian company does not go out of business!

Sorry guys,

I am part old testament so I should love the stuff but its so dirty and harsh shooting I won't buy it anymore.

Ya you save $1 a box but spend 3 days cleaning unburned powder out of your gun.

I haven't had that problem with Score shells.
