bow river at 22x

can one still get to the east side of the bridge over the bow at 22x by using the golf course road. not sure if they closed it at the bottom to do the new bridge work.

You can still access the river from the east by the MacKenzie lake golf course.
I even think you can drive under the bridge now and park on the south side of the bridge. Hope this helps.

He is 100% correct, I work down at the Mckenzie Meadows golf course and you can park on either side of the bridge. Also there is lots of sheds on the south of the bridge. I saw lots of deer there all year coming home from school but havent found the time to go look for them.

Hows the fishing in that area? Seen a couple fishing from under the bridge when I took dogs down there last summer

The fishing is usually pretty good down there. I have fished from the bridge all the way to Fish Creek Park and it is decent.

Rainbow and Brown Trout, plus Rocky Mountain Whitefish, with a few surprises from time to time. Bait is not allowed for the most part, so flies, spinners, spoons, etc. will work.

You can't use bait down there. Flies lures etc.. but no bait.
