Scope?

Hey, so got a tika .300 shortmag as a wedding present from the wife last weekend now have to look at putting a scope onto it.

Just wondering what guys recommend for a good quality scope I'm looking to spend between $1000-$1500 on the scope package any reviews, recommendations, things to avoid, etc would be greatly appreciated.

it depends on what your looking to do with the rifle, personally I would be looking at a conquest hd5 for your price range or look into some of the vortex line

For big game hunting, Swarovski Z-3 3-10X42. For target Conquest HD-5 3-15X42 with Lockplex.

You need to look through any scope yourself, as not all eyes are the same. What is good for one, is not necessarily good for the other. Having said that, a Leupold VX-6 is worth a look.

yup i hate nikon. some guys love them.


you should try a red dot. because that's what i want to do on my next build

I loved my monarch 3!! It was a great scope for the 223 target shooting. I like vortex, Zeiss or sightron.
