Something here for everyone. Choose your distance, go out and have some fun.
THE RULES
On a single 8 1/2 X 11" sheet, make a copy of two toonies (actual size). The challenge is to hit each toonie with a single shot, so only two shots per panel. (3 shots and you're out). Distances can be 100/200//300 (M or Yds).
No restrictions on gun, caliber, or rest. Try as many times as you want, but post only your successful panels.
Here are some examples of the "approved" style of target. Remember, no real toonies.

If you want, also post a pic of your gun and the rest system used.

Here is my contribution shot this morning at 300M. It was breezy and the wind was a bit twitchy so did not make the cut with my first attempt:)

Perfect weather for shooting at 9C so I thought I'd try to up my game with adding another coin to challenge my nerves. Worked out good as I needed only three sighters to figure the wind which as light and steady ... just before the rain I guess.
This time 2 toonies and a loonie (a $5 shot) at 300M.

Nice shooting. I was happy to hit the gong at 300m twice in a row. :)

Thanks guys. I am a believer that practice is the key to accuracy, and by fall I have lots of that which gives me the confidence to try this challenge at 300M even though 90% of my bullets are in the 100M backstop.
I think over the course of time we are going to see lots of dead toonies in this thread, shot at various distances.

With that level of shooting 260, there are matches that will actually pay you money for your efforts. You could come home with getting your entry fee and gas money back and perhaps some extra. The downside is the added pressure from other tack drivers. The upside is the interactions with like minded people. :)

Shooting is just a hobby and somehow getting involved with competition just doesn't appeal. I am a firm believer that anybody that is willing to learn can develop decent shooting skill. Hopefully there are shooters here on AO that will try (these) "challenges", learn from their success's (and mistakes) ... take out some toonies...and say "Aahhh, that was fun".

Posting for a friend that shot the Challenge at 300M this morning with his 30-30. He was successful on two panels ... so four consecutive toonies taken out.

what scope and magnification? I don't even think I could see a coin at 300m. haha

Scope on the rig I used was Leupold FX-3 25 power 40mm objective. If you don't have the magnification, put the toonie image inside a circle like the one shown in my OP and center up on the circle.
Remember, this challenge can be also done at 100 or 200.
