Do you think upsizing a premier Nosler brass in 270W in to a 280 Rem and using it for a 280 Rem rifle will affect accuracy because of the upsizing of the brass?

In other words, if I upsized Nosler brass in 270W in to 280 Rem, would it shoot different than Nosler brass made for a 280 Rem??

Believe shoulder to base is longer in the 280. Would work if you expanded neck slightly larger than standard, then form in 280 to create a false shoulder to eliminate headspace.

You'll have headspace issues unless you form the brass with a secondary shoulder.
The datum line on the 280 is further forward than the 270 and 30'06.

As for if it will be the same load wise, as actual 280 brass, perhaps, but then again my crystal ball rolled off my desk last week and broke, so I can't say for sure.

I'd stick with tried and true if I was you.

In short to concour with the above posters , lots of work to reach the same result and the re-sized brass would still have a different head stamp
Not worth the effort IMO

I would purchase Lapua 30-06 brass, and neck it down.
