View Full Version : Hot bluing around Edmonton?

Have a Ruger M77 that was my late fathers that I would like to have reblued after this hunting season. Considered cerakoting it, but given it's sentimental value I think bluing would be more appropriate.
That all said, I'm having a hard time finding anyone that does hot bluing anymore. Anyone have a contact they could send me for this? Thanks.

I have been extremely happy with the bluing I had done by Bob at custom gunworx in Rocky Mountain house - but recently he mentioned shutting down his bluing tanks.
It may be worth a call to see if he is willing to squeeze it in.

That's too bad because Bob did a nice job. I understand though, the fumes can be hard on the body and immediate surroundings. Should not be able to have Mr. Henry do it, shoot me a PM as I know a fellow in Medicine Hat. I have sent barreled actionso to him on the bus.
