If you want a transom mount Minn Kota Endura, the Canadian Tire in Spruce Grove had them on clearance for $114. That was the 36lb thrust one.

i will have to check out crappy tire here in gp. I do know that my buddy has a 30 flb thrust with a $180 dep cycle battery and it worked awsome all day long and half the next day. Just right even in windy conditions. thanks

I just bought a new electric so I will be selling my 30lb Motorguide. I figure $100 is a fair price for it.

my 2 cents.....

Pick up a minnkota at costco in the next few weeks. Their return policy is top notch, and they shud soon have their summer stuff hitting the floors (if not already). They sell the 50lb model that has the maxximizer feature every year for around $360.

Sure its more expensive, but u get what u pay for. You havent stated what u will be using it on, but I can tell you that on a 12ft inflatable I wudnt want to go less than 50lb thrust. Get the most thrust u can afford, as you will likley soon be doing what others probably are...selling their old models and going to a bigger one. Better to spend the money up front and not have to upgrade later.

As for batteries, you cant beat costco again for their group 27 batteries that come in at about $65 bux. I can go all day, and never have I ran out of juice. Dont spend more than that on name brand batteries.

Do you think it will be in the Costco summer coupon booklet?

I have yet to see them on sale in the flyer. They may go on sale (in store) towards the end of summer to get rid of their stock if they havent sold out. They usually go pretty fast though.

well i have a 12 foot alum i just bought and i know my buddys 30 flb thrust pushed it around for a day and half on $180 dollar batterie. Another question, all we used to charge the batterie at the lake was our veichle now is that a bad thing? I know its hard on altinator but..... I will look into the costco bit for sure thanks
