PCR Clear lake

Any reports on these lakes for this weekend?

I was on Clear last weekend It was turning to slush. When we went to leave the ice it was a little scary there was open water for 4 or 5 feet at the shore. I wouldn't be driven on there. But we were on Chain yesterday and I sure wouldn't drive on it either. But there was a few trucks out there "stupid guys" two weeks ago was on PCR and there was no way I was going anywhere near the bridge even on foot. The south end of the lake we did drive on but ice was like a frozen slurpy. Wouldn't do any of the south lakes less on foot. Not sure when they close ???

Off memory, Clear is open all year as it is an unlisted lake, and I believe Pine Coulee closes on March 31st.

I agree, with jts1, no way would I drive on the ice anymore down south....after having to make a run at it to get off the ice last weekend. Im in if its someone else's truck and they have life jackets but no more in my own.

Darn guess i might just hit up spray lake again with some buzz bombs. maybe we'll have better luck this time.
