Ain't it closed ?? Guess I had better look at the regs a little more. LOL thought we woudnt get you back on there after the trip off a few weeks ago Wolf. I know my wife didn't like the drive through open water to get off the ice nor did I for that matter.

Might be good to go back to the " scene " and have a little flash back and a few laughs ( as long as I don't get a repeat performance ) I wasn't even thinking about driving on - that was not a good thing at all last time, scary stuff.

I would be into that. I want to "screw up the eco system" and keep that 19.5 lb the fella let go out there that day. HOT DOGS!! who would have thought...

Have any of you guys caught a trout out of there yet? Just curious, a few big trout came out of there right when it was filled, would be neat if the odd big one is still being caught.

Is there a boat launch at clear lake? Never did make it down because I ran out of time.

On Tuesday it was 19" thick, pretty soft and slushy. The auger went through it like a hot knife through butter...can't drive on anymore as the ice around the edge is pretty much toast!

It was like that a few weeks ago , driving on open water to get off the ice was no fun. cant be much time left on the ice down there.
