Hi,

Interested in going on a fly in fishing trip next year.
Wondering where everyone recommends, places you've been and would go back to. Mainly interested in fishing for Pike.

Thanks!

check out the Boat and Sportsman Show in February if you are in calgary. lots of fishing camps attend this. but i would agree that word of mouth is always the best way to find a good camp!

There some great camps all depends on what you are looking for ,there are camps that just target big pike $1000 a day ,there are some that are cheaper ,MANITOBA ,SASK NWT . All have great camps and budgets for all good luck p.m. me if you want some more info worked at lots of them.

Kesagami in North western Ontario is pretty hard to beat if you're targeting big pike. Also much more affordable than the northern Sask and NWT recommendations.

Lake Newell has some monsters, that's for sure. That said, there's more to the experience than simply catching fish. A July evening in the middle of the bush on some northern outpost lake beats the hell out of Lake Newell.
