fished clear sat and sun the action is really hot right now managed 12 on sat and 32 on sun mostly lil ones 22-26" but i did manage a 32" 7lber on sat. hopefully i can get out for one more trip but with this warm weather to come seems less likely.

How's the ice down there? Was thinking of going down this week but not sure if the ice is accessible anymore with this weather.

You got 12 on sat? i was down there on sat and it was SLOW for us. Between us managed no more than 10!!! we musta been doing something wrong. We were there from first light till late afternoon and had maybe 1 over 63, but they all went back. I am also hoping to get out once more this year, if you are going out this weekend let me know, i'll meet ya down there.

how thick do you think the ice is going to be this weekend? I want to head out as well, but might hit the bow river instead

the ice was sittin around 18" but like halfway through drilling it was like slush perty much. its melting from the top and the bottom now so one more trip this weekend seems less possible. the main prob will be gettin on the ice with the shores being the first to melt. i might be heading out tommorow if i do ill report back on the conditions.

Pretty sure after this weeks temps itll be done for this year, ther'll just be too much open water around the banks I think......best of luck if I'm wrong though, wish I could make one more.
