hunting the US state

I want to plan a hunt to the US, I just started to look how their system works.
How easy it is to cross the border with firearm?
Can I bring back meat and antler back in Canada?

Call the state you wanna hunt in and get the straight answer from the horses mouth.

Firearms require a BATF form 6(full name I forget) before any firearm is allowed into the US. This usually needs a copy of your US hunting license attached. Also it needs to be processed some weeks ahead of time. Again call the US BATF and get the straight answer.

Its the ATF 6 nia form.....google that and it will take you right to the BATF where you can download the form and print it. Then just send it in an await confirmation....once approved, your good to go. And yes, you can bring the meat and antlers back, ive never had any trouble with that.
