Yeah I heard it is really cheap and I believe Black Cat is where I was thinking of. Take some pictures and let us know how you like it.

its a long way to go, but the work is exceptional.....Corlanes in Dawson Creek does excellent work, and the cost is reasonable................talk to Tim...........he did an old remington 30 06 for me.............I cant beleive its the same gun!

I am very interested as well. Once your done I think we would all appreciate a short 500 word essay on the process and a photo montage.

Another vote for Corlane's. They do great work. On my Sako 75 SS 300WM I had the barrel fltued and just the flutes tefloned coated in 1997 or 1998 when I bought the rifle from them. They didnt do the powder coating at that time. No problems or issues with the teflon on my rifle.

A few hunting buddies have done up their rifles-barrel, receiver and bolt handle being powder coated.
