Any one have a ice report for chain lakes reservoirs?

Thinking of heading down this weekend with the kids, hows the ice ? Would hate tk drive all the way down there and get the kids excited for nothing.

I drove past it on the way to Fernie and there were lots of people and shacks on the ice last weekend.

Ice was about 10" on Monday. Fishing was good 12 fish, 4 trout in the 13" range .

Was out today about 12" of ice in the spot I fished. Some very thin ice I could see from the road, lots of ice heavs after the 100km wind for the last three days
Some people driving on with cars. There is only one thing you can't fix.
