Anyone know where I can get parts for my Eskimo auger in Edmonton. I need a new starter recoil. Went out to fire it up yesterday and wouldn't you know, poof. Thanks

The Fishin Hole usually has a bunch in stock. Check them first then Lawn Mower Hospital.

West end Fishing Hole had the Viper recoils in stock. Around $45 if I am not mistaken.

What does poof mean? The cord is easy to replace, but if the coil is broken...

Not those ones - it's like a spring trap ready to explode ....

Broke the cord on my Eskimo S33, not hard to replace. If nothing else, re-cord the old one to have a spare.

After having my eskimo in the shop for a week or so the last 3 seasons I solved the problem by buying a new strikemaster lithium Lazer. I don't miss dragging that beast of a machine around lol.

Had my Eski for 5 + years and no problem with the recoil. I have broken now 2 of the thumb throttles though, both times in the truck box something fell on it.

I had the recoil detonate on me once and have had the spring that controls the clutch fail twice now. Not a lot of fun firing up an auger and having it never stop spinning.

Went to the Fishin Hole south side Edm. this morning and picked up a recoil for $34. They had 3 different styles to choose from. Good service too!
