I have spoke to many of you on fishing the Bow. There is enough of us that fish the Bow. I just thought that a social group for this subject would be a good idea. Feel free to get on board and start sharing information and telling lies about how it was THIS BIG away from the negative responses and direct insults that can come with general posts. Anyone sending these kind of responces in this group will get the boot.I hope to see some of you there. Thanks guys

I love the Bow! I wish I lived in Calgary.....only for that reason though. lol
We have a overnighter booked for June 6,7 and can't wait. I've already been eyeing up my pontoon. hehehe

I would like to join, I fished the NW end in Calgary for over 40 years, now I have to learn the tail end of the river, but thats half the fun of it. Might not be as fast and cold, but it sure looks interesting!

I am new in fishing.
Just wondering where can I fish in Bow, which area is best? Only fly fishing?
It will be nice to have a bow fishing facebook group.
Regard.

You can catch fish on the fly rod as well as a spin cast with lots of different lures.

Sorry to ask this question.
Where can I fish in Bow river, I only know a place near carbon park.
As mention on above post, NW is pretty good. How do I get there?
Thanks.

Good places to start are fish creek park and deerfoot and 22X. Pick up a copy of Barry mitchells 2009 fishing guide it has lots of hot spots. Best 9.95 I spend every year and I usually buy 2 copies.
