Chain Lakes

Just wondering if anyone has been out to chain lately.Taking a bunch of kids out today and just wondering how the action has been.

We went out on Tuesday and it was slow for us. We had one bite. Didn't hear of too much from others there. Though some were catching a couple.

Heard yesterday that fishing was slow again.

Ice was good about 13". There were a few vehicles on it.

I was at chain monday. Quiet except between 1030 and noon when it was non stop. As fast as they turned on, they turned off just as quick.

Well went out to chain today with 4 kids.Beuty day on the lake ,very slow fishing as we caught only 4 in 5 hours.Lots of people driving on ice but its to sketchy for me.We fished on the west side and ice was lucky to be 8 inches there.Kids were freaking out whenever a vehicle came close to us as ice was cracking like crazy.All in all it was a great day to be outside
