Hard Water Trout

Looking for a good place to fish for trout around Edmonton on the hard water. Ive never ice fished for trout before but would like to give it a shot.

Try Carson just north of Whitecourt usually fishes well in winter.

Here are a few spots, all within an hour or so of Edm, where you can fis for trout through the Ice.

Lamont trout pond
Hermitage
Beaumont
Chikakoo (sp?)
Salter
Sauer
Star
Spring
Blac Nugget (Tiger trout there)
East Pit
Leduc
Morinville
