There are supposed to be some very nice walleyes in there. There are also many springs and gas pockets that make the ice sketchy throughout the lake in numerous spots - so be extra cautious.

Good luck and keep us posted.

We were in there a couple of years ago. There was 20+" of ice everywhere we drilled but came up on a bit of wide open water. Fishing was so so. Be careful.

There are a few big Walleye, but tons of small ones. We aleays buy C class tags. Lots of flood water early in the season, but it all froze up at Christmas. Huge ice heave just East of boat launch, but you can get across if you go to the North shore.

Worst part about Wolf Lake is the road into it, lots of heavy traffic, but CNRL doesnt maintain the road.
