Pigeon Lake today?

I was there yesterday at the provincial park got 2 walleye one pike. 23"s of ice with a hand auger is a good workout

Made it out with my brother in law late in the afternoon. Over 24" of ice around Mulhurst. Fished 8-9' of water. Had a few walleye and pike on camera, missed some on the jaw Jacker. Towards disk my BIL put on a Kamooki in fire tiger and the walleye came in hard and fast on the camera. They hit the kamooki but that tail treble didn't connect. I dropped down a Northland Slurpies perch jig and immediately connected.

I headed out to Pigeon this am, on the ice before 8 am, Walleyes were biting, had some fun with Dad, filled a B class tag, and put a few back as they were too large. Beautiful day, fished Mulhurst bay as well, we had steady action until 10:30 am, then it stopped. Nice day to enjoy the outdoors in January.
