Most of those lakes are good but not as good as they once were. You have a very small window to catch big Pike and Lakers. June is the best. Never fished there but have fished with Mikisew. If I was to do a trip I would go to Lake Athabasca anywhere on the cracking stone peninsula. That area has some of the best fishing on the planet. I have guided on Great Bear, Slave and found that Athabasca is your best bang for your buck.....
