It's meant to be used with the units described below:

The Self-Leveling Ice-Fishing Transducer from Lowrance gives you a clear and steady look at what's beneath the ice. Dual-beam 83/200kHz transducer with 20° and 60° angles. 6-ft. cable. Fits newer Mark 4, 5 and Elite 4, 5 units with uniplug connections. Works with Lowrance X67c, M86c S/Map, M56s Map and Eagle FishMark 320.

More information here (http://support.lowrance.com/system/selfservice.controller?CONFIGURATION=1001&PARTITION_ID=1&secureFlag=false&TIMEZONE_OFFSET=&CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&ARTICLE_ID=2343).

Sorry, it's hard to find any real information on how to use this!

I am actually asking about the self leveling part. There is a battery connection on the cable also? yes I have looked all over the net for instructions but cannot find any. Tks.

It attaches to the soft bag kits/fish finder stands swing out arm.

I dont really like it on mine but you can modify it to work with an Aqua vu stopper and eliminate the wire piece.

Will see if I can get a pic.

Here is a picture:

Fishfinder needs to be level. Wire (small L) goes thru transducer and is self leveling(swings). Hope that helps.

However, as I said you can use Aqua vu stopper on the transducer cable in place of the wire holder.

Or you can attach a float if you do not have the swing arm.

Ok thanks a lot for your help. Will go with the float and stopper might be simpler.

I have the hole piece that Huntsfurfish posted if you want it for free, I just let my transducer hang to the bottom of the hole on the cable

Think I will do what you are doing just let the transducer hang free, but thanks for the offer.
