some deep snow in some parts of the west us and canada how much do you think this will affect elk herds in the near future.

Didn't hurt them any in the southern half of the province, once again more elk and deer than there's been in recent history. Don't mean to use an old cliche but the good old days are now once again. (aside from CWD concerns).

Healthy elk in the NE of BC as well. Starting to drive farmers crazy as they take over some of the hay stacks

thats good to hear im thinking of coming up this year to hunt again. i cant get enough of those moutains. maby if I keep alookout for elk instead of looking at the mountains ill get one. the guy I go with makes fun of me
