Looking for another 12V 7amp battery for the underwater camera. Anybody seen them around? Found lots in the states but nothing up here. Tried Bass, Fishin' Hole and Wholesale among others. Need a new Ice Pod as well.

Thanks in advance folks,
WC

fishing hole had them at the show here in Edmonton not to long ago. the guy behind me had one. if all you need is a battery couldn't you just use a quad battery? same difference.

If you're near Red Deer, my father owns a battery shop. PM me if you want details.

Amre Supply on Manchester Rd. has them for $40. Pretty sure I saw them at the Fishing Hole, and cheaper a couple of weeks ago too. Battery World has them too but last time I checked, they wanted your left nut for them.

I'm sure I saw them (Edit: gell Batteries) at bass Pro for about 30 bucks. I've also seen them at the Fish'n Hole. A quick call to either should put you on one pretty quick.

Battery Direct, you will get them there for half of what a sporting goods store sells them for.

I thought I saw them at Bass Pro too - thinking of getting one for my fish finder in the kayak.

watch out for UPS you will end up paying for it 3 times over with their "brokerage fees". USPS or buy local

becareful if u buy one. i wouldn't recommend that you do. my buddy bought one and it broke on like the 3rd trip or something. i would just adjust it manually befor i bought one. Haven't had a lot of luck from aqua-view/nature vision. there stuff is very poorly made in my opinion.

good luck

I've also heard that the ice pods are flimsy and break easily but I kind of want one anyway. My Marcum is a pain to turn without a lot of fiddling around and it would be nice to be able to pan remotely. If anyone finds a good deal on one, let us know. Almost need a separate thread for the two different items. I have a kid who lives in the States so I can have stuff sent to him and avoid the UPS/FedEx extortion. I agree that the best way to get stuff across the border is the US post office. Takes a little longer but you avoid the so called "brokerage fees".

i bought a black disc for my marcum it is made by marcum and i got it at the fishing hole. it works fine for me and u don't need to worry about carrying another battery. i heard that marcum got bought out my aqua view which isn't good news as far as i am concerned.

Princess Auto sells the 12v batteries. I believe they were the 8amp ones and were $25 or less.

I think those ice pods work good in July and august , just not designed for

real winter . I am fixing my buddies for the third time , that t-hook

the cable hangs on is crap ...I am just beefing it up ...For a $100.00

US this is not good ....
