I've never been in the High River store. I will say that the Okotoks stock of hunting and fishing gear is miles better than it was a few years ago. Not much higher end gear, but hey, that's not their clientele. You want that south of Calgary, you go to Flies Etc. Still, you can get a TFO fly rod and some decent ammo at Crappy Tire. Not bad.

The Okuma Fina 30 reels are on for $25 here in Sherwood Park. I managed to get a Stradic Ci4+ 2500 at the Windermere location for $120. It was the last one they had and they were not going to be carrying them anymore, so they gave me a deal.
