hi, i am going to buy a rangefinder and would like some input on different types or models.

I own the leica lrf 1200 and find it superior to all but the swarovski rangefinder.I actually find the swarovski rangefinder to be the best that I have ever used.

W T how much are you willing to spend on a range finder? The Leica's are very nice but they are well over $500.00 FS

Depending on what you are looking to spend you can get the Bushnell Elite 1500 for probably in or around the $500 mark. Check out the Bushnell web site.

i got a leica 1200. was over a grand when i got it. now i think they are dropped to 5-600 range

tested it side by side with a bushnell (?model), the leica did everything everytime, when it is snowing litely and low lite that is when the real Rf's stand out.
dig a little digger in your pocket, go for the gusto and get the rangefinder binos that are coming out, whats $2500 for glass?? LOL
