I have been there in the summer,approx 6-7yrs ago.The locals were less than polite.A guy I know said he heard you needed permission now?

Always have needed permission, used to be a $5 fee IIRC but that was years ago. They were fine back then but I have heard they are less welcoming nowadays, and anything not bolted down tends to grow legs and wander off. Better places to fish anyway.

Think is 10 bucks now always gave 20 never had any issues in 20 years. Watch out for kids when your launching not much supvision around there. Good luck
