She was windy out there today:)

When I set the tent up at 0745 winds were light. By 0830 hollllllllllllly. A fella set his tent up a couple hundred yards from mine after the wind came up. I was surprised he tried to do it.............and without a problem. He left an hour or so later.

The roof popped in one time. All of the screw lags pulled out at one time or another. Even though the fishing was slow..............it wasn't boring lol.

Ice conditions: <1cm water on top. 18 inches of good ice.

That was me, started bending my anchors so I moved to the sheltered spot by the first parking lot, managed to do a little better there and got two 17"ers. That wind was typical Crowsnest, managed to avoid its full force for most of the winter, had forgotten how bad it can get.

You were in the red Eskimo pop-up right? You got guts sticking around in that, I was worried you were going to end up at the end of the lake!

Haha. Would have visited you if it weren't so windy. Caught a 19, 17 and 4 others. Stayed out there until around 1430. The tent is a purple...ish Wholesale Sports Crystal 3. I recommend that tent.......it takes a beating and keeps on ticking lol.

We fished it this AM.

Son got 5 and a pig of a bullie.

Our exchange student caught his first trout!
Then he hauled out a big 19" pre spawn male!

I'm. It going on that ice again this season
She's rotted out pretty good.

Springs are pushing open water in areas.
