Anybody going out there this week? Got a pass from the wife for 10 days of fishing. Hoping the fishing is as good where I left off last November.

I'll be out there at some point, depends on many factors along the way as I'll be stopping at many places along the way too visit with many folks across the Province. Ha.

Too many people with not enough time as normal.
Quad with tracks on the mountain in the mornings, boating from after-noon till sun down, then bon-fire lunches at night.

Hooo Hummmmm. Away the hard life when out there.

Don.

PS: Staging out of Scotch Creek / Celista.

Wholly crap bat-man Ha.

I'll watch for you as we're radio-less.

Un planned timing as I'll be drifting along on the hwys here and there checking out trails, mountain tops, and sun shine if I can find it Tom.

Pick-up truck aka "Cabin on Wheels", bow, Quad with tracks as the boats are at the Marina West side.
Might use the hard shell Zooody-ack on the outting.

I'm gonna make a pilgrimage there in may. I think about being on that gold mine just about every day I'm not there.....

How do you fish rainbows there? We fished it last June and it was pretty slow. Got a few on flies

Downriggers: coyote spoons/apex lures

This time of the year bucktails work well on planer boards and full sink lines. Gibbs g-force and koho killer spoons and a full sink fly line or a 2/3 ounce slip weight is another favourite. Later in the year I will move to the apexs and plugs.

Cabin on Wheels is on the go. Lots of ground too cover on this Lone Wolf adventure as I start off on the South and migrate Northerly.
Toasty dry & warm every night, and frugal on expenses as back seat / now a awesome sleeper system is free too camp any where I stop.

Lower Valley or the crown lands on the back side of the ski hills. Very much winter up top as the runs slowly shut down.

Spent 1/2 the day up top, other 1/2 in the lower Valley visiting the many from days gone by.
Big bon-fire lunch then return to the hills for a good nights sleep.

Cabin on Wheels started back in 1984, ruff set-up back then. By 2005 the system was down pat as its assisted me in covering alot of ground.

Free camping, crown land adventures, frugal lunches, and lots of sight seeing.
BC,,, all of BC has been good too me and many others that choose to take it on. Gold Pan too Ghost Towns at every turn.

Just got back from 9 days on the boat. Imagine sleeping in a fridge, lol. Fishing started out slow but steadily got better. Last day boated 6 rainbow all in the 24-26" range. Had a double on, tried to figure out which was bigger, I think I made the right choice. Anyways, boat ran good, have it in this week for reupholstery and detailing to get back out on Thursday

not sure why some of the pics are upside down
