I could not see any ice when i drove over McGregor this afternoon. Crazy wind down there today. Probably ready for water skiers though

I've never fished Travers before. Is it a tricky lake to fish?
I have a 18' fiberglass boat that I'd like to take out. Is the water high enough at this time? How is the dock at the camp ground?

Thanks folks!

Travers is open and apparently some are catching decent Pike and Walleye right off the dock. It's a great reservoir for a Fiberglass boat too... Lots of sandy type beaches and places to have lunch etc..

Easy to fish. Go to the spillway or fish some of the inlets on the south side and up around the Bible Thumper Camp on the EAST side. 8 to 15 feet of water is usually the ticket for both Walleye and Pike.

Cheers,
