Hi guys headed out to brooks to work for a couple days wanna get my line wet. Looks like this is one of the only spots open around the area. Anybody have any knowledge about this lake or any other lakes in the area they'd like to pass along?

It used to be full of trout. Dont know if they still stock it or not

It's a dud. Everything else around here doesn't open until May 8th.

One thing that i have noted .Is once the govt, determines that there are perch in the lake. The govt stops stocking ,the lake with trout.

thats what i don't understand is there is an invasive species in this particular lake, the limit for perch is 15 but yet they specifically say you can only keep 5 perch from here. makes no sense to me??????

So i went out on Tuesday night at 630. Thought it was a dead lake for an hour till the trout started to rise. The pond lit up. Had to have seen a thousand rises. All small. 8 inch. Caught 2. Buddy caught 1. Bows. And other guy had a 20" pike on. Beautiful night/sunset. Checked out the old aquaduct. Check it out if you've never seen it. Quite the project for back in the day.
