Trout ponds around edmonton

Looking to go out for a day with a buddy, I haven't fished a trout pond in awhile.
I'm looking to take him somewhere we'd get into some fish. I've checked the stocking report and it doesn't show any places being stocked. Where is the best place to go right now, size doesn't matter, just trying to get him into fly fishing.
We will be shore fishing.

Cardiff pond still has some leftovers from last year. People were ice fishing them till end of March.

Cardiff overwinters much like most of the Areas trout ponds.

Cardiff overwinters much like most of the Areas trout ponds.

Some years, not all. Haven't seen perch there for a while now.

It is a good place to take new flyfishers, lots of room and little brush.
