Anyone having any luck on the NSR?

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone is having any luck catching on the NSR near Genesee yet this spring? I was think of taking the boat out this wknd but the water still looks a tad chocolatey. Not looking for any honey holes I've got my own lol just wanna know if it is worth headed to the river or if I should head to a lake. Thx

I have not been out for about a week, but the few times I have been out on the NSR, I found it to be slow compared to past years. This year the water is quite s bit higher and definitely more muddy than this time last year.

I've been skunked the 2 times I went in Edmonton this year so far.

I think the fast flow and near zero visibility are really making it tough this year.

I'm going to try bait fishing with minnows this weekend, hopefully I can catch something.

Hey guys, water clarity has changed a ton the last two days. It is not clear by any means but the "chocolate" look is now more like milky tea. Have at it and game on!
