Hey All

Danni and I are thinking of heading down to the Oldman Reservoir to do some trout fishing on Thursday. I've been searching through the forum for any tips or info, as we have never fished this lake before.

There is very little info on this lake at all. Is it not a good fishery?

If any one has any tips they want to share, that would be greatly appriciated, even if it's an area of the lake. Also i have seen that the water level can flucuate a lot there. Is there enough water to launch a boat there, also i'm assuming the ice is off.

Thanks in advance

Dustin

I like fishing the tail waters just down from the dam. There's some good fishing to be had there. Haven't ever fished the reservoir.

Be careful about the wind down there... it can really blow!

We were in the area 2 weeks ago and it was mostly ice free then, so I'm sure it's completely ice free by now.
