Slow start to the season

Anyone else finding this to be a very slow start to this years fishing season. I have had little luck at Muir and found Lac St.Anne to be really slow as well.

Seemed initially slow in the beginning of May but over the past few weeks have had over a 100 trout (C & R of course) at a trout lake* west of Edmonton. The chironomid fishing has really picked up.

*Sorry, can't say where for for fear of "fish and tell and go to hell"

Ridiculous good start. Need a break after these first two weekends. Should be an interesting year!

Tried my luck on the dock at our cabin at Wabamun yesterday afternoon and washed hooks for an hour
No fish for me yet this year, so i'll agree with the slow start comment
