I purchased a new fish finder and I was wondering on what would be the best mapping to get. (hotmaps,map create, navionics,stc.) I am mainly interested in southern alberta lakes and B.C. I just dont know what one to go with.

What brand of finder did you buy???

I just purchased a new map card for my lowrance, apparently the navionic's one and hotmap's with the contour lines can be out in depth as well as point's or structure. I purchased the one made by lowrance for western canada, can't remember the name of it as i am away from home right now. If your finder is a lowrance then this one would probably work best for you and runs close to the same price as the navionic's. Talk with the guy's at wholesale

Back at home now, the one i have for the lowrance is called Freedom map and is for western canada. Cover's the 4 west province's and is made by lowrance
